Sylic® Optical Brightening Agent BYB
CHEMICAL STRUCTURE
Sulfonated diaminostilbene derivatives

It's suitable for Optical Brightening Agent on cellulosic fabric, cotton, yarn, linen and nylon fibre. Its affinity is excellent and primarily for exhaust application, better washing fastness and good stability to peroxide. It's quality is counter of Synowhite BYB .
PROCESS METHOD
1. Normal cotton brightening process:
Dosage: BYB 0.2-0.6% o.w.f; Na2SO4: 5-10g/l; Temperature: 90-100ºC; Time:20-30min; Bath ratio: 1:10-20
2. Peroxide bleaching for cotton:
Dosage: BYB 0.1-0.6% o.w.f; NAOH (30%): 1-4 g/l;
H2O2(35%):4-8 g/l; Na2SiO4: 10-15 g/l; Detergent: 0.5-1.0 g/l;
Temperature:100ºC; Time:30-45 min; Bath ratio: 1:10-20
3. Polyester & cotton blends:
A. Peroxide bleaching:
Dosage: NAOH (30%): 1-4 g/l; H2O2(35%): 4-8 g/l; Na2SiO4: 10-15 g/l; Detergent: 0.5-1.0 g/l; Temperature:100ºC; Time: 30-45 min; Bath ratio: 1:10-20
B. Polyester brightening:
Dosage: ER-I/ER-II: 0.2-0.8% o.w.f; Dispersant: 0.5 g/l;
Temperature:110-130ºC; Time: 30 min; Bath ratio: 1:10-20
C. Cotton brightening:
Dosage: BYB: 0.2-0.6% o.w.f; NA2SO4:2-5 g/l;
Temperature:90-100ºC; Time:20-30 min; Bath ratio: 1:10-20
Detailed process is according to customer's request.
STORAGE & PACKING
Sealed in storage, keeping date is 12 months under room temperature.
